Today is Friday... we've had a 'home' day. It's been nice. Saying hello to the sun again. My little people have been fantastic fun today, full of smiles and conversation. This afternoon we will venture out to the park to meet a new friend with her wee man. Noice!!
So let me introduce you to my wee people... Tad (name protected) is our newest addition to our family. He is a big 13 week old. Look at those cheeks... don't you just want to squeeze them!
He is always so full of smiles... rarely cries... only if hungry or forgotten. When he gets attention he will garble away telling you all about the events of today, how he feels about it, and what we should do about it in the future! (Just like his Daddy!!! - FULL of words!!)
The little princess of the family has just turned 2. Noosh (for the purposes of this blog) is super adorable too (can't you tell its the mother speaking... completely biased of course!!). Since the moment she turned 2 (only last Saturday)... we have embraced the 'awesome' 2 year old tantrums, discussions and conversations.
She adores reading and will occupy herself with books for ages. At age 2... favourites are Peppa Pig and Elmo. She adores... sorry... ADORES her baby brother. Smothering is the word I think I'm looking for...
My other half is one of the most amazing Dad's in the world. He loves his kids to distraction and they equally adore him.
So, what about me... I'm Mummy, cleaner, nearly part-time worker (again), cleaner, wife, cleaner and did I mention cleaner!! But seriously, just doing life one day at a time. Started a blog for family overseas (yes... we miss you desperately!!), so they could see their grandchildren, niece and nephew growing up - (Sorry it's taken so long). Also, so Noosh and Tad can one day refer to this blog as the memories they may or may not have. And for me... as a marker of posterity... if I take the time now to detail 'day's of our lives'... I think it makes me more thankful for the times that we have together. So I'm learning... learning to take photos ALL the time... learning how to edit those photos... learning how to blog (and I think I'm technically minded... turns out ... not so much!!!).
So please comment... I do so love words from people... and any bloggers out there who want to offer pointers... I welcome advice... (there are a couple of blogs that I think I follow in secret - only cause I don't know how to follow publically) but I adore reading about you... makes me feel like we are doing life together again.
So until another day... now... I'm just going to have a little bit more of a play with format etc...
Yeah Toni, a blog! Love it. I always love reading your emails. You have a way with words and what a great way to keep us overseas family in touch with your everyday happenings. Love reading and hearing about the small things as well as the big things. Not sure I am up to doing a blog timewise, but never say never. You inspire me. Love you, Karlee
